What is FBE Coated TMT?

TMT bars are shot-blasted clean, heated, and coated with epoxy powder that melts and fuses onto the steel. This forms a tough, continuous protective film that shields the reinforcement from moisture, chlorides and chemicals — extending the life of structures in aggressive environments.
